Message from the Editor“It is a soul that speaks thro’ the letters. Words can make sentences but sentences alone do not make a letter. The message must have a mind behind it”. A warm welcome to all the readers of “Dental Horizon” the horizon where the vision of dental practitioners meets the whole new arena of dentistry. We hope that this magazine will enrich your knowledge and will spark a new ray of communication amongst the dental fraternity. Regular continuing educational programmes are a paramount in the success of our clinical practice. As goes the saying “the things taught in schools and colleges are not an education but means of education”. This is all the more true in our dental practice. Lack of up-gradation of knowledge can deprive the patient of the best possible treatment and hence can be detrimental to the practice. With the explosion of new advances in dental technology, materials and practices, one has to weigh their efficacy in one’s own scenario.“Swallow all the readings in the morning, but digest it only in the company in evening. It is by sharing our views with each other that we will be able to achieve the maximum out of the tones of information we get. We also would like to sincerely from a bridge between the dental traders and dentists in order to get the best deals in term of cost and quality. For this, we need a feedback from the traders as well as the dental practitioners. The magazine will serve as a platform for the exchange of relevant information in areas of dentistry. Aesthetic and restorative, management skills, material science and dental technology, Lets not forget,” you must know something of everything and everything of something, if you want to keep pace with modern tempo of knowledge, trend & culture”. Anticipating your support & co operation. Dr. Ajit Singh Vasan Editor.
